W.S. WEIGH & SON, General Storekeeper etc, Boulia, Queensland, uniface five shillings, currency note as an IOU, dated April 2 1927, (192- printed), numbered No. C1100, signed W.S. Weigh, Note has bank stamp from Cloncurry, with incorrect spelling of Shillings as Sihllings, unwatermarked, value in corner as 5S, printer Diddams Brisbane, on front 'W.S. Weigh & Son General Storekeeper, Newsagents, &c. Wine and Spirit Merchants', dark blue on white, (this note illustrated Vort Ronald..Shinplaster..p.113). Creases and folds, large portion of lower left missing, otherwise very good and very rare.
