W.S. WEIGH & SON, General Storekeeper etc, Boulia, Queensland, uniface five shillings, currency note as an IOU, dated April 10 1928, (192- printed), numbered No. C1510, signed W.S. Weigh, with correct spelling of Shillings, unwatermarked, value in corner as 5S, printer Diddams Brisbane, on front 'W.S. Weigh & Son General Storekeeper, Newsagents, &c. Wine and Spirit Merchants', dark blue on white, (this note illustrated Vort Ronald..Shinplaster..p.113). Creases and folds, in ink 'Cancelled' at side, otherwise nearly very fine and very rare.
Another rare "shinplaster" issue from Northern Queensland.
