SIMONS, Tailors & Mercers, 186 and 248 George St, Sydney, on grease proof paper, c.1900, advertising note for two pounds two shillings against every tweed suit made to order, three thousand pounds worth of tweeds to select, No.57963, pen note at base, 'From Spencer? to Dorothy, Australia, signed R. Simons Proprietor, (type not published in Vort Ronald..Miscellaneous or shinplaster). One large tear across half of the note many folds, otherwise nearly fine and very rare.
