BANK OF ECONOMY, c.1860, advertising note for ten pounds for showing 'the Bearer choice selection of Swisse Muslin Curtins ...., as low as any house in the Kingdom of forfiet not exceeding the Sum of ten Pounds' For the Gov. and Compa. 60 George St, signed Edwd L. Robinson, Overprinted 60 twice and below 60 George St. both overprints added to the original note to make it look like a 'Bank of England' ten pound note, (not in Vort Ronald..Shinplaster or Miscellaneous). Stuck down on light cardboard, corner missing, several folds and rough edges, otherwise nearly fine and very rare.
