KINSELA, Enoch. No (68#) Sydney, (23 April) 181 (3) Enoch Kinsela. I Promise to Pay to Bearer the Sum of one shilling, Currency, on Demand. 1s. (III En Kinsela) watermarked ribbed paper (note mentioned in Vort Ronald Colonial Currency & Promissory Notes p.38). Frail but full, faded, otherwise good and very rare.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 91 (lot 2981) and Sale 89 (lot 1901) the W.G. & L.M.Wright Collection.

Backing paper has script ink writing (top of a letter?) 29th July 1807 Court opened Masses Hold J (?).
