ANCIENT BRITISH, Celtic Coinage, Eppillus, (later 1st century BC - early 1st century AD), coinage struck at Calleva, gold quarter stater, (1.16 g), obv. EPPI COMF in two lines, dotted border, rev. winged horse, dotted border, (S.980; Van A 435). Extremely fine, attractive and rare.
