CAPTAIN JAMES COOK, memorial medal, (1784), in bronze (43mm) by L.Pingo for the Royal Society (M.H.374; K.5; Eimer 780; BHM 258). In a modern case, a few small surface marks and a small dig on cheek, otherwise dark brown patina nearly uncirculated.
