ANASTASIUS I, (A.D.491-518), AE folles, post reform coinage from 498, small size, Constantinople mint, (8.35 g), obv. bust to right around D N ANASTASIVS P P AVG, rev. M, cross above, CON in exergue, (S.14, DOC 16a, BMC 41, T. 31, Ratto 354). Earthern patination, very fine and very scarce in this condition.
