MAXIMINUS I, (A.D. 235-238), silver denarius, Rome mint, (2.65 g), issued 236-8, obv. MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG GERM, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. VICTORIA GERM, Victory standing to left, holding wreath, captive at feet, (S.8318, RIC 23, RSC 107). Lightly toned, surface roughness, otherwise good very fine, scarce.
