NERVA, (A.D. 96-98), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 96, (3.32 g), obv. laureate head of Nerva to right, around IMP NERVA CAES AVG P M TR P COS II P P, rev. around CONCORDIA EXERCITVVM two clasped hands holding a legionary eagle on a prow, (S.3021, RIC 3, RSC 25, BMC 8). Very fine and rare.

The Reka-Devnia hoard of 81,044 silver coins contained 323 coins of Nerva but only 8 of this variety.
