TITUS, as Caesar under Vespasian, (A.D. 79-81), silver denarius, Rome mint, issue of A.D. 77-8, (3.37 g), obv. T CAESAR IMP VESPASIANVS, laureate head to right, rev. COS VI in exergue, yoke of oxen to left, (S.2440, RIC 197, RSC 67, BMC 225). Toned, very fine and rare.

The reverse is copied from a Republican denarius of L.Cassius Caecianus of 102 B.C.
