J.16558 F.H.Germon, A.B., R.N. on first three medals, J.16558 F.H.Germon A.B. H.M.S.Emerald. on last medal. All medals impressed. Contact marks, fine - very fine.

Frederick Herbert Germon, upholsterer's boy, age 18, born at Devonport, Devon, England; Enl.15Jan1914 for 12 years; served on various ships including HMAS Iron Duke (Fleet Flag Ship) at Jutland.
