UNION BANK OF AUSTRALIA, black and white uniface printer's proof, second issue, one pound, Ballarat, 1st Jany. 1878, imprint Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, three punch hole cancellation across Manager signature reserve, with 'Nov 1877' in pencil in lower margin (MVR 2b). Uneven edge at top, otherwise extremely fine and rare.
