AUSTRALIAN JOINT STOCK BANK, first issue, proof one pound, uniface, black and white, Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, 18.., payable 'here or in Sydney', imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, 'SPECIMEN' in Manager signature reserve, '6th November 1862' added in pencil in bottom margin (MVR 1b). Extremely fine and very rare.
