QUEEN VICTORIA, pattern young head shilling, c.1863, CW raised on neck, plain edge, rev. in imitation of engraving small shield of arms within Garter, crowned, motto on ribbon beneath, scroll ornament in field, groundwork of horizontal lines, (S.-, ESC 1398 [R4]). Golden red and blue tone, FDC and extremely rare.
