QUEEN VICTORIA, young head shilling, 1878, no WW, die no.60, (S.3906A, ESC 1330). Brilliant with light peripheral gold tone, nearly uncirculated.

die number broken at base of 60, last 8 in date overstruck on an 8? The 1878 obverse die has been recut throughout the hair, of note the last curl at the back hanging now a complete loop.
