EUBOIA, Karystos, (c.350 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.75 g), obv. bearded head of Herakles to right, clad in lion skin, rev. cow seated to left, KAPY above, club to right below, (S.2505, BMC 8-9, Lanz BCD Catalogue No.111, [lot 556, realised 250 Euros +], SNG Cop.417). Good fine and rare.

Ex Alan Jordan Collection and purchased from Noble Numismatics Sale 81 (lot 3177) and BCD Collection (with his ticket) and previously from the W.P. Wallace Collection.
