EUBOIA, Histaia, (c.350-340 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.42 g), obv. head of nymph Histaia to right wreathed in ivy, rev. cow standing to right, vine with two bunches of grapes, **ISTI* in exergue, AY**G* torch to right, (S.2494, BMC 3, Lanz BCD Catalogue No.111, [lot 371, realised 350 Euros +], Traite II, 192 [Pl.CXCVIII, 16]). Very fine and rare.

Ex Alan Jordan Collection and purchased from Noble Numismatics Sale 79 (lot 3430) and BCD Collection (with his ticket).
