SICILY, Leontini, (c.466-425 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.27 g), obv. laureate head of Apollo to left, dotted border, rev. head of lion to left, around four barley grains and legend, **L EON TIN O N, (S.833 [same obverse and similar reverse die], SNG ANS 236 [same obverse die], Rizzo Pl.23, 7). Edge breaks from striking, toned, very fine and rare.
