PROBUS, (A.D. 276-282), gold aureus, Cyzicus mint (6.36 g), obv. laureate draped and cuirassed bust to right of Probus, around IMP C M AVR PROBVS AVG, rev. Sol standing to left, holding globe and raising right hand, around CONSERVAT AVG, (cf.S.11898, RIC 891, C.175). Large full flan, choice extremely fine or better and very rare.
