QUEENSLAND POSTAL NOTE, unissued uniface specimen for four shillings and six-pence (poundage one penny), second issue c1890, watermark 'Queensland Postal Note' and a crown, No.-, SPECIMEN stamped diagonally in black. Two pin holes, otherwise nearly extremely fine and rare, only two examples known.

Postal notes circulated as currency in the Colony of Queensland 1880 to 1900 due to the shortage of coins in outback Queensland.
