MALAYA, Board of Commissioners of Currency, 1st July 1941 (1945) twenty cents, fifty cents A/21 071764, one dollar G/6 002401, five dollars B/11 086145, ten dollars B/53 015654 (P.9a, 10a, 11, 12, 13). All with centre fold, mostly extremely fine - uncirculated. (5)

These notes were posted by an Australian soldier to his wife during WWII. Included with the lot is the envelope postmarked No.6 Aust Base P.O. 22 Oc 46 and printed at the base, The Salvation Army / Australian Comforts Fund / YMCA.
