USA, 1936 D, Daniel Boone Bicentennial, commemorative silver half dollar. Brilliant, uncirculated.

In a slab graded as MS65. Net mintage was 83,180. However only 5,005 were issued 1936D. The obverse of this coin presents Chief Big Turtle, also known as Daniel Boone (1734-1820). On the reverse, Boone is represented with the Shawnee Chief Black Fish allegedly discussing the treaty that was to put an end to the nine-day siege of Fort Boones now part of Kentucky.
