USA, 1935 HUDSON, New York, sesquicentennial commemorative silver half dollar. Brilliant, uncirculated.

In a slab by NGC as MS64. Mintage was 10,008. This small issue was struck to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the foundation of Hudson in New York, which was named after the explorer Henry Hudson. The obverse shows Hudson's flagship the 'Half Moon' and the reverse shows the seal of the City of Hudson. The seal includes representations of Neptune with trident on a spouting whale together with a mermaid blowing a conch shell.
