USA, 1934 MARYLAND TERCENTENARY COMMEMORATIVE SILVER HALF DOLLAR. Lightly toned, uncirculated.

In a slab by Smart Collect as MS65. Mintage was 25,015. Commemorates the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Maryland Colony by Cecil Calvert (known as Lord Baltimore). Profits from this coin was used to finance the celebrations at Baltimore in 1934. The obverse depicts Cecil Calvert and the reverse arms of Maryland.
