USA, 1926 SESQUICENTENNIAL OF AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE COMMEMORATIVE SILVER HALF DOLLAR. Brilliant, uncirculated.

In a slab by Smart Collect as MS64. Mintage was 141,120. Commemorates the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, an occasion for an international fair in Philadelphia in 1926. The obverse shows the Presidents George Washington and then current President Calvin Coolidge on the obverse. The reverse shows the liberty bell. The dies were in low relief whereby causing much loss of detail.
