CHARLES I, (1625-1649) Tower Mint under Parliament, Group V halfcrown mm sun 1645-6 (S.2780). Flat on horse's head, otherwise attractively toned nearly extremely fine or as struck, very rare thus.

In a slab by NGC as AU55. Ex Grosvenor Collection.
