SICILY, Syracuse, period of Timoleon, (344-336 B.C.), AE 25, (19.04 g), obv. head of Zeus Eleutherios laureate to left, around traces of **[IEUS ELEUQERIOS]*, rev. free horse prancing to left, **[SURAKOSIWN]*, (S.1191, BMC 311-312, SNG ANS 533-541, Weber 1651). Black patina, nearly extremely fine portrait and very scarce.
