BOND'S MOTOR CAR COMPANY LIMITED, Clare, S.Australia, unissued share certificate no.167 with counterfoil attached, purple print on white; cheques drawn by Bond's Motor Car Coy Ltd, The English, Scottish & Australian Bank Limited, Clare, cheque no.99, Jan 14th 1914, signature of George Bond as Secretary, another no.235 (over 614 crossed out), Nov 16th 1914, company in liquidation. Very fine - extremely fine. (3)

George Ford Bond and his son Bert had set up Bond's Bus Tours at Clare in 1910. A year later, four new Fords were purchased and the business was very successful. It seems plans were made to establish Bond's Motor Car Company but apparently it was not successful, possibly due to the outbreak of WWI.
