JAPANESE MIDGET SUBMARINES IN SYDNEY HARBOUR, souvenirs from the sub sunk during the raid, includes a midget sub cast from the sunken sub's ballast, model is 112mm long and in high relief on the sides, 'Made From Ballast Jap Midget Sub/Sunk In Sydney Harbour May 31 1942', together with a 'Guarantee Souvenir' tag (70x133mm); also a souvenir card folder (122x69mm) and on the inside is a piece of Glass Wool used as insulation between the plates of the batteries supplying power to drive the motors of the midget sub. The last with some light ageing, otherwise virtually uncirculated and as such very scarce.

Proceeds from the sale of these items went to R.A.N.Relief Fund & King George's Fund for Sailors.
