AUSTRALIA, WWI, tribute fob in gold (9ct; 4.8g; 38x33mm), obverse, boomerang above shield featuring soldier and with kangaroo and emu at sides, inscribed on boomerang, 'Dvr C.H.Chick', inscribed on reverse, 'For/service/rendered/1916-19'.Good very fine.

Driver Clifford Henry Chick, age 18, labourer, born at Lilydale, Tasmania; Enl.11Jan1916; Emb.20Apr1916; RTA 22May1919; Disch.13Sep1919; by 1921 Clifford Chick was deceased.
