FRANCE, Medaille Militaire (3rd Republic type); Croix de Guerre 1914-1918 with Star citation. Extremely fine. (2)

Together with original certificate for award of Medaille Militaire to Borderie Mathieu Marceau dated 25 November 1920 signed by Lt Colonel Mignon, Commandmant, 401st Infantry Regiment. First Borderie Mathieu Marceau born 1895, died 29Sep1916, buried in common burial site, Fleury-devant-Douaumont, later moved to Douaumont National Necropolis, the Necropolis for the battlefield of Verdun.
