QUEEN VICTORIA, retrospective pattern crown, dated 1887, in sterling silver, plain edge (38.6mm, 28.48gm) obverse, stylised incuse bust of Queen Victoria to left, around VICTORIA REG DEI GRA, reverse, New Zealand map with compass and Endeavour ship to left, produced in the style of the incuse Bonomi crown which purported to show the benefits and longevity of coins produced with incuse designs. Uncirculated.
