HENRY BESSEMER, engineer and inventor, in bronze (58mm) by Pinches (BHM 2954, Eimer 1630), reverse, Bessemer bust left, reverse, Bessemer converter for steel manufacture within an ornamental escutcheon, edge inscribed, 'Harry Richard Knight, Session 1918-19'. Extremely fine.
