DEATH OF JOHN CONDUITT, Master of the Mint, 1737, in bronze (58mm) by Tanner, (MI 518/73, Eimer 538), obverse, Conduitt bust right, reverse, Truth introduces Conduitt to Hampden holding staff with cap of liberty and Newton, seated, leaning on a diagram of the planetary system. Extremely fine.

John Conduitt, Master of the Mint, succeeded Isaac Newton to the post in 1727.
