ANCIENT BRITISH, Celtic Coinage, Southern Britain and Thames area, Atrebates, Verica, (cA.D. 10-40), silver unit, third coinage, issued A.D. 25-35, (1.31g), obverse Celtic warrior on horse to right, COMMI F below, reverse seated Celtic warrior on horse to right, VERI above CO below (S.133, Van A.530-1). Attractively toned with golden highlights, extremely fine and scarce.
