GORDIAN III, (A.D. 238-244), AE sestertius, issued 243-4, (19.54 g), obv. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, laureate draped and cuirassed bust to right of Gordian III, rev. P M TR P VI COS II P P, Apollo seated left holding branch resting hand on lyre, SC in exergue, (cf.S.8732, RIC 304a, C.273). Nearly very fine.
