MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 162, (3.00 g), obv. bare head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around IMP M AVREL ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around PROV DEOR TR P XVI COS III, Providentia standing to left holding globe and cornucopiae, (cf.S.4925, RIC 50, RSC 519). Lightly toned, well centred, very fine or better.
