VALENTINIAN II, (A.D. 375-392), silver siliqua, Treveri mint, issued A.D. c.375-378 (2.09 gm), obv. pearl-diademed head of Valentinian II to right, around DN VALENTINI ANVS AVG, rev. VIRTVS ROMANORVM, Roma seated facing head left, holding Victory on globe and spear, TRPS in exergue, (S.4157, RIC 94a, RSC 61). Grey tone, good very fine and scarce.
