ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 155-6, (3.23 grams), obv. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P IMP II, laureate head to right, rev. TR POT XIX COS IIII, Fortuna standing right holding rudder and cornucopiae, (cf.S.4073, RIC 251, RSC 987). Off centre on obverse, some surface pitting, otherwsie very fine.
