TRAJAN, (A.D. 98-117), silver cistophorus, Ephesus mint, issued A.D. 98 (10.27 grams), obv. laureate head of Trajan to right, around [IMP CA]ES NERVA TRAIAN AVG GERM P M, rev. around TR POT COS II, legionary eagle between two standards, (cf.S.3114, RIC 719, RSC 608). Old cabinet toning with blue highlights, nearly extremely fine and rare.
