VALENTINIAN I, (A.D. 364-375), silver siliqua, Trier mint, (2.05 grams), obv. pearl-diademed bust of Valentinian to right, around DN VALENTINI ANVS PF AVG, rev. VRBS ROMA, Roma seated to left, holding sceptre and Victory, TRPS. in exergue, (S.4099, RIC 27a, RSC 81a). Toned with golden highlights, extremely fine and attractive.
