SICULO-PUNIC, mint of the camp, (c.300-290 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.68 gm), obv. head of young Melqart or Heracles wearing lion skin to right, rev. horse's head to left, palm tree behind, trace of Punic legend below, corn ear in left field, border of dots, (S.6436, Jenkins SNR 57, [Series 5a] 294 [same dies, O94/R242). Lightly toned, dumpy flan as usual, otherwise nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
