SICILY, Leontini, (c.425 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.29 grams), obv. laureate head of Apollo to right, rev. head of lion to right, around four barley grains, around LE O N T IN ON, (cf.S.833, SNG ANS 224, Boehringer [Essays Price] No.37, Rizzo pl 23, 3-4). Bright with slight surface pitting, otherwise very fine or better and scarce.
