THOMAS CARLYLE 80TH BIRTHDAY, 1875, in bronze (56mm) by G.Morgan, obverse, high relief bust designed by Boehm, reverse, legend (BHM 3006; Eimer 1648). In original, fitted circular case by The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd, slightly rubbed in fields, otherwise extremely fine.
