THRACE, Kingdom of Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.198 grams), Colophon mint, struck 301-297 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin, with dotted border, rev. Zeus enthroned to left supporting eagle, lion forepart to left, **F* below, pentagram below, below **BASILEWS*, to right **[L]USIMAXOU*, (S.6812, P.L27, BMC L27a-e, Thompson 127, cf.M.L21); Philip III, (323-316 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.284 grams), Colophon mint, obv. Herakles head r., with lion skin, rev. Zeus seated to l., eagle in outstretched hand, **PA* monogram to left, A under throne, to right **FILIPPOU*, (cf.S.6750, Price P47, BMC P47a-b, M.P136). Both with surface oxidation, otherwise fine or better. (2)
