CONSTANTINE VII AND ROMANUS II, (A.D.913-959), silver milliaresion, Constantinople mint, issued 920-931, (2.638 grams), obv. five lines of legend, within a triple circle of dots, +COnST'T/ PORFVROG/ CEROmAnO/ EnX'WEVSEb/ B'RWmEON, rev. cross potent on base with three steps, around IhSUS XRI STUS hICA, (S.1757 [£50 VF], BMC 67-69, DOC 21, R.1906). Toned, with surface scratches, otherwise very fine and scarce.
