PAMPHYLIA, Aspendos, (385-380 B.C.), silver stater, (8.728 grams), obv. two naked athletes as wrestlers grasping each other by the hands, E between, dotted border, rev. slinger advancing to right about to discharge his sling, triskeles before, behind **ESTFEDIU*, club before, O under legs, all within dotted circle, (S.5399, SNG France 122-3 [Pl.5]). Toned, nearly very fine and very scarce.
