CARIA, Carian Islands, Ialysos, (on Rhodes), (c.500-460 B.C.), silver twenty fourth stater, (0.496 grams), obv. forepart of winged boar to left, rev. eagle's head to left in dotted square, all within incuse square punch, (S.3563, BMC 6, cf.SNG Finland 301). Very good /nearly fine and rare.
