THESSALY, Larissa, (350's-340's B.C.), silver drachm, (5.976 grams), obv, facing head of nymph Larissa three-quarter to left, within dotted border, rev. horse grazing to right, with head turned facing, above **LARIS, in exergue **AIWN, (cf.S.2120-1, SNG Cop. 121, Hermann Pl.V, 5). Bright, of finest style, graffiti scratch on reverse, otherwise good very fine and scarce.
